Review by hotel critic
I recently stayed at Atlantico during my visit to Rio de Janeiro, and I must say that the value proposition of this hotel is quite intriguing. The location is indeed convenient, situated right next to the metro, making it a breeze to explore the city. Having easy access to bus stops, shops, and other amenities adds to the practicality of staying here.Regarding the facilities, the outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace provide a pleasant space to unwind, although I must note that the pool with a view was a bit crowded during peak times. The flat-screen TV in the room was a nice touch, allowing for some in-room entertainment after a day of sightseeing. However, the absence of certain services, such as valet parking and ironing facilities, may be a drawback for guests seeking added convenience. The lack of a business centre could also be a limiting factor for those traveling for work.In terms of luxury, while the hotel does offer a sauna and fitness centre, the overall ambiance may not fully encapsulate a premium experience. The simplicity of the decor and furnishings reflects a more modest approach to luxury.
